A Season to Be Thankful
As fall and the holiday season transition us from summer’s heat to the cool, shorter days, the nostalgia of hot soups, warm cocoa, and holiday cheer sends our senses craving once-a-year recipes shared with loved ones. This season is truly about warmth, connection, and reflection. The shift brings a range of emotions—from joy to longing—and highlights the importance of gathering, sharing, and showing appreciation. With the hustle and bustle throughout the year, we often forget to pause and say thank you. This season, Jobs for Life wants to acknowledge all the volunteers, donors, and community partners who have given their time, talent, and treasure to our ministry. We are thankful for you!
This year, contributions to Jobs for Life have helped launch a new JfL site for youth in Wake County at AMIkids Infinity Wake. Aligned with JfL’s vision for everyone to flourish in work and relationships, AMIkids believes in transformation and the potential for greatness in every youth. By combining education, workforce development, treatment services, and behavioral health, AMIkids boasts a success rate of 80%, with 92% of graduates setting clear career goals. We are grateful for this collaboration and excited to introduce the Power For Life curriculum to AMIkids Infinity Wake students.
Jobs for Life also extends a special thank you to all volunteers (Champions, Facilitators, Businesses, and Churches) who make this work impactful. Without your help, this wouldn’t be possible.

In October, Jobs for Life was selected to present to 100 Men Who Give A Damn, a local foundation that gathers businessmen from the Triangle area to award financial support to local charities. JfL was happy to share the spotlight with other local nonprofits doing great work in the area including: Holt Brothers Foundation and New Leaf Behavioral Health. We were also honored as a runner up, to receive funding that will be utilized to launch two additional JfL youth classes in the coming months at AMIkids Infinity Wake.
